A leak has disclosed detailed specifications for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Ultra models, indicating they will feature high-end hardware and advanced display technology. While Samsung has not officially confirmed these specifications, the leak has generated significant interest among consumers and industry watchers, as it suggests a major upgrade in Samsung’s flagship tablet lineup.
The leak, originating from an unverified source, suggests that the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus will feature a 14.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It is expected to include up to 16GB of RAM and storage options reaching 512GB. The Ultra model, purportedly a step above, is said to boast a larger 14.9-inch display with similar high-refresh-rate technology and a more advanced camera system, possibly including a 13MP front camera and a triple-lens rear setup.
Battery capacity details indicate the Plus and Ultra models could come with 10,000mAh and 11,000mAh batteries respectively, supporting fast charging. The leak also hints at the inclusion of Samsung’s latest S-Pen stylus, with improved latency and features, along with updates to software and connectivity options such as 5G support. However, these specifications have not been officially verified by Samsung or through credible industry sources.
Implications for Samsung’s Tablet Lineup
If confirmed, these specifications would position the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Ultra as flagship contenders in the premium Android tablet market, competing directly with Apple’s iPad Pro. The high refresh rate, large AMOLED display, and powerful hardware could appeal to creative professionals, gamers, and power users seeking a versatile device. The leak also indicates Samsung’s continued focus on integrating stylus features and high-end display technology, reinforcing its competitive stance in the tablet segment.
