ToolGuyd’s Oct. 13, 2026 report highlighted Home Depot tool offers, including a DeWalt DW735 planer bundle and Milwaukee M12 drill/driver kits. The report and reader comments describe uneven prices across similar kit configurations, but do not establish how long the offers will last or whether every price remains current.
ToolGuyd published a Home Depot tool-deal roundup on Oct. 13, 2026, highlighting offers that readers said included a DeWalt DW735 planer bundle and Milwaukee M12 drill/driver kits. The report gives shoppers a snapshot of advertised deals, while its comments point to confusing price differences between some similar kit configurations; the source does not confirm how long the offers remain available.
The roundup, written by ToolGuyd’s Stuart, focuses on tool offers at Home Depot and includes a link to a Milwaukee M12 drill/driver kit listed at $199. In the comments, reader Nick B said another version of the kit, described as being in the same sale but without a bit set, also cost $199. Nick said a third version that he considered the same as the linked kit was listed at $215. Those comparisons are reader-reported; the article material supplied here does not independently verify the product configurations or prices.
Readers also discussed a DeWalt DW735 planer offer. One commenter said they ordered a bundle, while another described distinctions between the DW735 and DW735X, including extra blades and extension tables on the latter. The comments do not provide a verified full price, a complete item list for the featured bundle, or a current stock check.
ToolGuyd’s author replied to the pricing discussion by saying the retailer had offered several bundle variations in recent deal posts. He noted that the screwdriver-bit sets in those bundles had different standalone prices and suggested that prices may sometimes be based on list prices without the combinations being checked against one another. That is the author’s explanation, not a confirmed account from Home Depot.
Price Differences Complicate Tool Shopping
For shoppers comparing tool kits, the reported $199 and $215 listings show why the product configuration matters as much as the headline price. A bundle may include a bit set, batteries, accessories or a stand, and similarly named kits are not necessarily identical. Buyers who rely only on a deal label or product-family name could miss differences in what is included.
The planer discussion also illustrates how a sale can affect purchase timing. One commenter said they had been waiting for a DW735 offer and ordered after seeing the roundup. That account shows the deal prompted at least one reported purchase, but it does not establish how broadly shoppers responded or whether the offer is better than earlier sales.
Since the report is dated Oct. 13 and provides no end date, readers should treat its prices as a dated snapshot rather than a guarantee. Checking the current listing, model number, included accessories, shipping terms and stock status before ordering can help avoid comparisons between unlike products.

How the Bundle Comparisons Arose
The source is a ToolGuyd deal post dated Oct. 13, 2026, followed by reader comments posted over the following hours. The exchange centers on two product groups: Milwaukee M12 drill/driver kits with different bit-set configurations, and DeWalt DW735 planer packages that may include accessories or a stand.
In the comment thread, ToolGuyd’s Stuart said the bit sets had different standalone prices and that similar bundle structures had appeared in recent deal posts. A reader also recalled seeing the planer go on sale later in the holiday season in the prior year, but that recollection is not a verified sales history. The source offers no Home Depot statement or formal price explanation.
““Some of the pricing doesn’t make sense on this sale.””

Prices, Packages and Stock May Change
The source material does not establish whether the listed prices are still active, how much the featured planer bundle cost, or when any promotion ends. It also does not provide Home Depot’s explanation for the reported M12 price differences. The commenter comparisons may involve product variants or bundle contents that are not fully described in the supplied material.
Reader comments are individual accounts, not confirmation of general availability or sales performance. The report also does not verify whether the DW735 offer includes the DW735X’s extra blades and extension tables, or whether a stand is part of the specific bundle. Shoppers should consult the live product pages for current terms and exact model details.
Check Live Listings Before Ordering
The immediate next step for shoppers is to compare the current Home Depot listings by model number and included items, rather than relying on the Oct. 13 roundup alone. They can confirm the present price, stock, delivery options and any promotion deadline on the retailer’s product pages. If kit contents remain unclear, Home Depot’s listing or customer service may help distinguish the options.
ToolGuyd may post further updates or deal roundups, but the supplied report does not announce a follow-up or state when these offers will end. Until updated information appears, the availability and final checkout prices remain subject to change.
